Running Wild Athletic Apparel:
Running Wild carries seasonal apparel from Nike©, Asics©, New Balance©, Adidas©, Saucony©, Moving Comfort©, Insport©, Sporthill©, Brooks©, Mizuno©, TYR©, and Race Ready©.
The following is a summary of how to prepare for the elements:
ZONE 1: Temperatures 60-100°F
Warm weather garments should be lightweight and be able to wick away moisture rapidly. All garments carried by Running Wild are polyester or nylon based. Avoid wearing cotton garments since they absorb and hold moisture next to the skin. This creates a surface area where blistering or chafing can more easily occur and leaves you with “soggy” feeling clothes.
Items carried by Running Wild:
• Running Shorts
• Walking Shorts
• Spandex Shorts
• Singlets
• Tanks
• Coolmax Tee Shirts
• Bra Tops
• Shimmels
• Coolmax Socks & Caps
ZONE 2: Temperatures 35-60°F
When running in temperatures between 35-60°F, choose garments that provide enough insulation and warmth according to personal comfort. Wicking moisture away from the skin to stay dry will keep you warm because you will not be chilled by your own sweat.
Items carried by Running Wild:
• Running Tights (form-fitting)
• Running Pants (looser, tapered fit)
• Coolmax Long-sleeve Tees
• Nylon Long-sleeve Tees (form-fitting)
• Coolmax Midweight Tops
• Nylon Shell Jackets, Vests & Pants
• Lightweight Gloves & Caps
ZONE 3: Temperatures 0-35°F
When running in temperatures between 0-35°F, layer garments to provide optimum wicking, insulation and protection from wind, rain and cold.
Items carried by Running Wild:
• Heavyweight Tights & Sport Pants
• Heavyweight Tops
• Waterproof, Windproof Jackets & Pants
